I was recently awarded VA 100% total disability. I am 74 years old. I have been told that I may qualify for 10,000 life insurance. Is this correct?

Thanks Nick. I take it that to be eligible for the additional $10,000 in insurance, you must also be eligible for a waiver of premiums which if I recall requires that you be unable to work.
